Black Hills Audubon is co-sponsoring a webinar, called the “Lorax Project” to be put on by the Thurston Climate Action Team (TCAT) on June 24that 7 p.m. The program will discuss the protection of trees in Thurston County, in particular the updating of tree ordinances by the County and the cities of Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater. It will be facilitated by Lisa Ceazan and moderated by Lynn Fitz-Hugh, both of the Thurston Climate Coordinating Council.
