OUTREACH COORDINATOR: BHAS hasn’t been able to do much tabling at events the past two years but the possibilities seem to be opening up. Do you like meeting people, answering questions, and promoting conservation issues? We need someone to research outreach opportunities and recruit a cadre of volunteers to man our BHAS table at events. We have the equipment and the handouts ready; we need an organizer! TABLING OUTREACH: In a similar vein as above, we need folks to man outreach tables at events. Our first opportunity for tabling is at Prairie Appreciation Day on May 14th. Volunteers will staff a table with outreach materials and a children’s activity. The hours will be 10 to 3. If you like to meet/greet the public, please consider helping with this. ECHO EDITOR: A volunteer is needed to compile articles for The Echo. It requires reading and editing articles as they are received and sometimes finding suitable photos.
