ACOW: The annual Audubon Chapters of Washington (ACOW) meeting was previously scheduled to be face-to-face in Wenatchee on September 24 and 25. Now it will be on-line and apparently free of charge.
If you want to attend the on-line ACOW meeting, go to Audubon Washington at https://wa.audubon.org to find a new, free registration link.
The on-line ACOW will still feature keynote speakers Dr. Elizabeth Gray, the National Audubon interim CEO and Jamaal Nelson, the National Audubon chief equity, diversity and inclusion officer. The meeting will also continue to have conservation sessions, the clean energy panel, and the session on equity, diversity and inclusion at Audubon.
For those already registered for the face-to-face meeting, do not worry. Audubon Washington will rescind those registrations and refund the fees. (You should cancel your lodging reservations yourself.)
National Audubon Society Convention: Similarly, the annual National Audubon Society Convention “Audubon Everywhere” will be a virtual meeting on October 1 and 2, and is offering extra low registration fees. In fact, you can choose your fee payment.
This meeting will have two half-day sessions and includes many fascinating topics, both U.S. and international. Registration began August 25 at this website
Hope you can take advantage of these easy-to-attend meetings!
