Westport and Tokeland Field Trip/Phil Kelley-Sam Merrill

CANCELLED due to high winds on the Coast.
October 10 has a high tide at 12:30 and that will be just about perfect to see migrating and loitering shorebirds and others on the beaches and shores south of Grays Harbor. Expect to visit Bottle Beach, Wesetport Coast Guard Station, Midway Beach, Wash Away Beach, Toke Point and Tokeland.
Meet at Mud Bay Park and Ride at 8:00 to carpool to the coast. Dress for the day’s weather and bring food and drink as needed. Maybe there will be a stop for snacks. Bring along a Discover Pass if you have one; it may come in handy. Contact Phil at 360-970-6323 to sign up.
