Lewis County Birding Hotspots

Here is a chance to see birding hotspots in Lewis County near Centralia, sites probably unfamiliar to most of us.  We’ll travel to Goodrich Road, Borst Park, Hillburger Pond, and Alexander Park to find native birds and spring migrants nesting and fledging.  If  time allows, we’ll swing by the airport, Galvin Road, and the coal plant.

We will carpool so please bring a full tank of gas or some small bills to reimburse your driver.  Dress for the weather and bring a sack lunch and binoculars (0f course).  The trip is limited to two cars of four people each.  To sign up, contact Kathleen Snyder at 360-915-9731 or 425-971-8021 (cell).
