Learning to Bird by Ear at McLane Creek Nature Trail

This will be the second introductory walk of several walks at McLane Creek Nature Trail this spring, focusing on learning vocalizations of the common – and not so common – birds who frequent our local forests, thickets, and ponds.  Come once or several times to practice birding by ear and also to learn what scientists have been finding out about bird song.  Beginners are most welcome.
