Through photographs, Scott will introduce you to the marine habitats of the Salish Sea and Washington Coast that are so important to both Tufted Puffins and Rhinoceros Auklets. He will also provide insights into what is a puffin and how these two puffin species have different natural histories and population trends. Finally, he will summarize some of the ongoing research and conservation efforts to benefit the declining Tufted Puffin in Washington and beyond.
