Forage Fish Walk and Talk at Sound View Camp

January 31 @ 12:00 pm-2:30 pm

The Nisqually Land Trust is excited to offer nature events this winter on their Conservation Easement at Sound View Camp. This site on Key Peninsula includes protected upland forest, freshwater wetland, and marine shoreline habitat.

Join them this January and February to learn about forage fish, an important food source for Northwest salmon. We will walk the shoreline and see a demo forage fish sampling survey by our partners at Leeward Environmental. Afterwards, stick around for a light picnic with snacks and hot drinks.

Multiple dates available with differing times based on tides.

Friday, January 31 @ 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Saturday, February 22 @ 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Please register for more details and directions to the site.
