Description: Birding with Breakfast at Woodard Bay Conservation Area. Especially appropriate for beginning and intermediate birders. Habitats include mixed evergreen and deciduous forest, tidal stream, and shoreline. Because of the location, please bring your own breakfast.
Meeting location: From Olympia: take Boston Harbor Road north, then right on Woodard Bay Road, crossing Libby Road. There is a small parking area requiring a Discover Pass on the left just before crossing the bridge over Woodard Bay; or drive across the bridge and up the hill to a County parking lot that does not require a Discover Pass — a short walk down to the lower parking lot.
No registration needed.
