BHAS Supports Olympia Metropolitan Park District Ballot Measure (Proposition 1)

The Metropolitan Park District is considered essential for the Olympia City Council to implement its unanimously approved purchase option to buy the Trillium portion (now known as Ashton Woods) of the LBA Woods. Thus, approval of the Metropolitan Park District in the November election is critical to the effort to preserve the LBA Woods. Previously, BHAS gave formal support for the Save the LBA Woods effort and now supports Proposition 1 to achieve that goal. More…
