Wetlands Walk With Whittier Johnson & Chris Maynard

Come explore the open space and wetlands behind artist Chris Maynard’s home in southeast Olympia (at 8211 Ayer Street) before encroaching development makes the habitat less desirable. Enjoy its mix of sparrows, flycatchers, finches, thrushes, rails, and more. These are genuine “wetlands”- rubber boots may come in handy. Google the address for directions.
