Miles
With his bright orange rain coat, not only will Miles avoid being shot by hunters during the Wednesday outings at Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, he will be the driest one in any group, and he could potentially attract hummingbirds! And if the sun does come out, he could turn his rainproof pants into shorts with a quick unzip. As per usual on a chilly day, Miles has on his cozy Whitefish hat with ear flaps AND a brim–truly fashion and function! His Northwest attire (take note of the matching umbrella and backpack) could be sold at REI as an inclement weather set! The Six Moon Design was made to hook to a backpack for a sunny day or a rainy one. But the piece de resistance is the hands-free umbrella. There was many a jealous birder as the rain came down and Miles’ dry binoculars made snipe hunting and shrike identifying easily accomplished.
