Last month, the BHAS Book Club met via Zoom to have a fun chat about A Most Remarkable Creature, by Jonathan Meiburg.
In his wonderful book, Meiburg thoroughly discussed not just the current knowledge of caracaras throughout the world, but dove deep into the history of these magnificent, intelligent birds, all the way back to how they first evolved and likely gained their unique traits.
Six members were able to attend the discussion, and had a wonderful time answering various questions about the “most remarkable creatures”.
The next meeting will be sometime in April, and though the time/place and even the book have not yet been decided, stay tuned here for updates!
