Recently, one of our organization’s email accounts (@blackhills-audubon.org) was compromised. Some of our members received email requests for gift card donations that looked like they were from a BHAS officer. Please beware of any source that asks for gift card donations; it is most probably a scam. The scam used information that is readily available on our website. We have taken what steps we can to prevent this from happening again but we cannot guarantee that it won’t. Please verify any request for money or personal data before engaging with email messages.
