BAYSHORE PRESERVE FIELD TRIP
On June 8th, Black Hills Audubon partnered with Capitol Land Trust to offer a birding trip to Bayshore Preserve near Shelton. Owned by the land trust, Bayshore includes Johns Creek and a section of Oakland Bay shoreline. Pictured above is Kyle Leader, BHAS volunteer, leading his group through the preserve in search of birds. During the morning, Kyle’s group found 25 species and the weather couldn’t have been nicer.
