FACE-TO-FACE in September
Please save the date for this year’s ACOW 2021. It will be held September 24-26 and hosted by the Eastern Washington chapter region in Wenatchee, WA. Not only is this a chance to learn a lot about Audubon chapters’ work all over the state, you can also enjoy some wonderful birding east of the Cascades with local Audubon experts. Attendance is open to any BHAS member—to coordinate travel plans, just let a board member know you wish to attend.
The event will be held in the Wenatchee Confluence Technology Center as a half-day on Friday, September 24, starting at 2 pm, and a full day on Saturday, September 25.
As per tradition, September 26 is reserved as a day of local field trips in that stunning part of the state. For accommodations, the state office, Audubon Washington, reserved two blocks of hotel rooms within walking distance of the venue. You can receive 10% off of a hotel booking by calling Comfort Suites (509-703-4315) or Sleep Inn (509-663-8333) and booking under the Audubon block. Audubon Washington will have more details and registration coming soon.
