We know that many BHAS members have missed our Annual Dinner get-together. Unfortunately, it was one of the many social opportunities that had to be abandoned during the COVID-19 crisis. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will return – in some form – next March. To that end, we are asking anyone who has an interest in helping with it to contact us.
We are in the early planning stages of next year’s “dinner”. “Dinner” is in quotes because we are using the long hiatus to rethink and perhaps make changes to the event. The “Dinner” might not be a dinner at all: we might go with a cocktail hour, a breakfast, or a lunch.
If you would like to participate in these discussions, join the Annual Dinner Committee and give your input! Although the details (and even the broad outline) are far from set, we know that we will need volunteers to set up, clean up, admit ticket holders, etc.
Most importantly, Sally Nole, who has done a wonderful job organizing our dinners for the past several years, has said that she wishes to pass on the responsibilities. Therefore, while she will be coordinating this coming year’s “dinner” (March, 2022) we are looking for someone to take over the main responsibility of organizing the one in 2023; work on the dinner typically begins the preceding fall. Ideally, that person would apprentice with Sally this year to learn the ropes.
Again, we are asking anyone willing to lend a hand in any capacity to contact Kathleen Snyder at ksnyder75@nullgmail.com to join the team.
We really need your help and input!!!!!!!
