LBA Woods Birdwalk

Learn about the birds in an urban forest – the LBA Woods. Most migrant birds have arrived from their overwintering in points south including central and south America. There should be warblers, flycatchers, finches, and grosbeaks as well as hawks and young birds emerging from their nests.
Meet at the LBA Park small parking lot, near the shelter and tennis courts. To reach the small lot, turn onto Morse-Merriman off Boulevard and turn right onto Amherst which dead ends into the park. Address: 3500 Amhurst St SE
The walk will take us on mostly level forest trails and cover around two miles.
