The Annual Dinner Committee, under the leadership of Sally Nole, and the BHAS Board of Directors have decided to cancel the 2021 March Annual Dinner. The Dinner is an event requiring months of preparation and, looking forward, the probability that an indoor, food based event could happen in March does not seem very good. Even postponing it until later in the year didn’t hold much promise.
Consequently, our Jack Davis Conservationist of the Year Award, our Dave McNett Environmental Award, and our BHAS Volunteer of the Year Award will not be presented in 2021. We are looking to 2022 to resume our tradition of gathering to enjoy a meal in each other’s company and to honor outstanding individuals in our community.
