Cranberry Lake Tree Farm is 440+ acres of working multi-age forest surrounding a pristine 200+ acre lake. This is a working tree farm and has a new boardwalk, shelter, and toilet facilities. These hundreds of acres of wood and water are home to eagles, loons, bears, trumpeter swans, osprey, heron, beavers, cougars, and more! Expect to see spring migrants, waterfowl, and woodpeckers. Meet on the north side of Cranberry Lake at the parking lot to bird with the group for a couple of hours, and then you should feel free to explore the south side of the property by yourself or in the company of others. Or explore the north side again! As always, dress for the weather and bring water and snacks as needed. If you have any questions, contact Mark Biser at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 360-427-8603.
