Wild Drive – Of things that Dig, Swim and Fly
Saturday, April 19, 2025
9 AM – 12 Noon
Description:
Enjoy the sights and sounds of diverse habitats and federally listed species during multiple stops in Thurston County. All stops are near or in an Urban Growth Area that is rapidly changing from its rural character. Stops include Tumwater Falls, Olympia airport (Mazama pocket gophers), marsh habitat (Oregon spotted frogs) and forested areas.
Start: We start at the Tumwater Falls where two federally listed species still occur as hatchery runs.
