Birding without Breakfast/Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually Wildlife Refuge

Birding and Breakfast is back … but without the Breakfast, at least for now. Especially appropriate for beginning and intermediate birders, Birding without Breakfast will be the first Saturday of each month, September through June. Starting time 7:30 a.m. (except 8:00 a.m. for the winter months from November through February).
September 4: Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, at 7:30 a.m. at the Visitor Center overlook (100 Brown Farm Rd. N.E., Olympia). Leaders: Deb Nickerson and Sam Merrill. Beginning birders are welcome.
Participants will need to follow current COVID-19 protocols, beforehand read the liability form for Birds without Breakfast relating to COVID-19, sign the form at the field trip, and divide into two groups, each with a leader, to facilitate birding and social distancing.
Additional Birding without Breakfast dates: October 2 (likely Woodard Bay, 7:30 a.m.); November 6 (likely Millersylvania State Park, 8:00 a.m.).
