Learning to Bird by Ear at McLane Creek Nature Trail

This walk continues our endeavors at McLane Creek Nature Trail focusing on learning vocalizations of the common – and occasionally not so common – birds who frequent our local forests, thickets, and ponds.  More and more migratory birds will be arriving and establishing nesting territory by now.  Come on one or more days to practice birding by ear and also to learn what scientists have been finding out about bird song.  Beginners are most welcome.  Peel off early if you have to get to work on Thursday.
