Birding Hood Canal Aboard the Lady Alderbrook

The Lady Alderbrook birding cruise on Hood Canal continues to attract Black Hills Audubon Society and Tahoma Audubon Society birders.

To Black Hills Audubon members and friends: yes, this is the same day as our annual fund-raising dinner, but the cruise will be for just a couple of hours in the morning. You then can go home, take a nap, come to the dinner, and tell friends about the waterfowl and other birds you saw on the water! 

Board the Lady Alderbrook at the Alderbrook Resort at 9:00 a.m. and seek birds upon and above the waters of Hood Canal. The Lady Alderbrook has two decks, and if the weather happens to be rainy and cold, which it easily may be, one can go inside and look out through picture windows. Please dress for the weather and, then, extra warmly, to counter breeze on the water. Bring food and water as needed. Bring binoculars, of course. The trip will cost $30 per person, payable at the dock.  Cash or a check payable to Bonnie Wood will work.
