All Things Waterfowl – Kim Adelson

November 9, 2017 @ 7:00 pm-9:00 pm

Waterfowl season has arrived in the South Sound!  Familiar, numerous, and easy to spot, it’s easy to take ducks, geese, swans, et al. for granted.  Come develop a deeper appreciation of these birds’ unique characteristics, their important roles in the ecosystem, and a bit about their evolutionary history.  We won’t focus on identification, but rather, waterfowls’  interesting behaviors and quirks.

Kim Gale Adelson (Dolgin), Emerita Professor of Psychology, is currently the Treasurer of Black Hills Audubon Society and has served on the Board for several years.

Photography and Birds with Alan Bauer, the event that was originally scheduled for this time,  was cancelled due to family illness.  We hope to have him present at a future date
