Join Burt Guttman for an easy walk around Capital Lake, paying some attention to the nearby Budd Bay area.  This field trip will focus on water birds and is oriented toward helping newbie birders learn how to observe and how to recognize major categories of birds – with color handouts!  But more experienced people are gladly welcomed, as it is always a joy to bird with old friends.   Who knows what surprises may show up even in familiar territory?   Meet by the lawn at Marathon Park, dressed for any weather.  Please bring a scope if you have one.
