Birds Chorus

A woodpecker taps out the beat for this choir,
Mourning Doves make the low notes sound great,
A Robin sings his tune while perched on a phone wire,
The lead is taken by a male Cardinal and his mate.

I stop and lift my hands as a choir master,
A Chickadee and Titmouse join in,
The woodpecker taps faster,
Then all stops, and they start all over again.
