Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge

Phil Kelley leads birdwalks at Nisqually every Wednesday.  Now, summer is over at the Refuge, and the fall migration is imminent. Make a visit to Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge a priority to see what birds are stopping over at Nisqually or planning to stay the winter. See what changes this growing season brought to Nisqually since the estuary’s restoration. Be prepared for any kind of weather and walking. Bring water and snacks and viewing equipment as needed.
The Refuge has a $3.00 entrance fee which is waived if you have a Golden Eagle Pass, federal interagency pass or other applicable pass.
