Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge

Phil Kelley leads birdwalks at Nisqually every Wednesday.  Every season promises many different species of birds in the Refuge, and you never know what you may see.  A visiting migrant bird?  A blooming native wildflower?  A raptor?  Great Horned Owlets?  Be prepared for any kind of weather and walking. Bring water and snacks and viewing equipment as needed.  The Refuge has a $3.00 entrance fee which is waived if you have a Golden Eagle Pass, federal interagency pass or other applicable pass.
